Carolyn Sherman is a native of Chicago so she must be used to frigid weather conditions. That toughness didn't help when she was in the 60-Second Stir-Fry hot seat with Amy Eddings, though.
Sherman quickly answered the question about what protective gear to don when grating horseradish. Her dad wears an Israeli gas mask, but she chooses something a little more readily accessible. She got hung up when asked about the most difficult part of starting a small business, though. After a few tense seconds, she went with "everything." Fair enough.
While Sherman was well-armed with winter gear when arriving at the studio, she admits that her favorite escape is somewhere decidedly warmer — at least during the day.
